Full assessment for new Mums (6 weeks post natal)

Caroline our Women’s Health Specialist Physiotherapist will be offering a 60 minute post natal examination for new mum’s following natural or C section deliveries (from 6 weeks and beyond)
1. Pelvis and postural assessment
2. Abdominal muscle assessment, checking for tummy separation (rectus diastasis) and looking at how your muscles are activating.
3. Pelvic floor assessment and offering tailor made exercise programme as appropriate.
4. Scar assessment if appropriate.
5. Education and advice to facilitate recovery
6. Bespoke treatment plan to help reach goals depending on assessment findings.

Intense Training


If you want to start your strength training journey but don't feel confident on your own in a gym, then this is perfect for you.

We listen to your story and build the session entirely around you and what you want to get out of it.

This could be a one-off session to show you the basics and set you off in the right direction, or you might want to come on a regular basis.

Strength training is really important to maintain muscle bulk, bone density and help us approach mid life and beyond in great shape.

Practising Yoga


Designed with you for you

1:1 Pilates is a great way to start your Pilates journey.  By working with you individually we get a real sense of your level of ability and any problem areas that need work.

You can work 1:1 for as long as you like or join one of our Pilates classes, the choice is yours.

Yoga Class


Small group classes for all abilities

Each term starts with a new focus in mind, whether that be neck and shoulders, lower back, hips or whatever.  Exercises from the Pilates repertoire form the basis of each class and difficulty increases as we progress through the end of term.

All exercises can be modified for anyone who has an underlying condition or for varying levels of fitness.

Weight Training


Small group classes to kickstart your fitness journey

Moving from treatment to improving your fitness can be tricky.  We can help guide you with exercises that are appropriate for whatever injury or condition you are recovering from and give you the confidence to get back into exercise.

Also great if you are new to strength training and want to start off gently.



Integrated with your treatment

The addition of acupuncture, alongside our hands on therapy and rehabilitation, can work very effectively for many musculoskeletal conditions.

Full assessment of your condition

A detailed history of the problems you are experiencing will be taken, which may include some questions of a personal nature. This helps the Physiotherapist get a full insight into the problem and will help guide the plan of care.
